If there would be a referendum for a unified EU army, I would vote yes. A single unified army is stronger and could be maintained better, with less money than for 27 different armies. I would prefer the world that we had before and spending zero on defense but at the moment, that's an utopia. As much as I dislike it, we must increase our defense capacities.
Absolutely not. Our sovereignty can't be held hostage to your reluctance on your own national defence. An EU army would propably be smaller than many national armies in an alliance combined and would definitely not be an an improvement.
@@TheAllMightyGodofCod Finland. Not a big population so any referendums are bad for us, but we have one of the biggest militaries in EU countries and should have some say over what the rest are doing.
All European countries need to increase defence spending, some of them more than others. The map shown there is rather misleading, because it doesn't paint all countries above the 2% of gdp target by NATO with the same color as France and Germany.

@herptek so, are you saying that if there was a referendum you wouldn't allow me to vote yes? Is that it?
@herptek oh...and by the way, in which European country do you actually live in?

@@herptek could you please answer my other question?

EU could join USA as the 51th states, problem solved!
Defence budget? To defend wealth?
With what wealth tax will it be paid?
What rich people think about wealth tax to feed military defence budget?
